Stealing the Covers and Goin Back to Wyo Release Day!

Dear friends! It’s finally here! Stealing the Covers is out TODAY on Fat Wreck Chords! And so is the Goin’ Back to Wyo 7 inch!! We’ve been talking about doing this for years, in fact it was Brandon’s idea over a decade ago. I’m sure wherever he is he’s stoked we finally pulled it off. Thanks so much to everyone who made this project happen, especially the bands who wrote these tunes. This one is for the bands out there working their asses off and writing great songs even if nobody seems to care. This is for the bands that play because they love to play. Be sure to check out the original artists and to support the small bands, clubs and scenes. So much of the best music in the world never gets the attention it deserves.
Europe tour starts next week, lots of shows coming up all over the world, we will see you all soon!
Love, TBR

TBR back on FAT WRECK CHORDS! US shows with MTX and the Nobodys! Japan Tour!

Friends we are SO stoked to announce our return to Fat Wreck! Check out their statement, our statement, and get ready to party!

Get ready to FREAK OUT, because Teenage Bottlerocket have returned to the FAT fold!!! We couldn’t be more excited to share this news with you, because we’ve missed them terribly. Their infectious energy and positive vibes are hard to duplicate. Now, let’s get to the super fun stuff, their plans for 2017, which include a brand new album and touring. Read what guitarist/vocalist, Ray Bottlerocket had to say about their upcoming year, which is sure to be massive:
Fat Mike once told me, “Teenage Bottlerocket will always be a Fat band.” Guess what? Our new record, that we begin recording at the Blasting Room on March 5th, will be released on Fat Wreck Chords sometime this summer! We have always had a tight relationship with Fat and we are looking forward to working with them again. 2017 is going to be a busy year for TBR; we hit the road with Mr. T Experience in early April for a stint in California and Arizona. We are also shredding a one off at Reggie’s in Chicago, one of our favorite cities to play rock music. Personally, I’m looking forward to the March 31st show in Denver which is Brandon and I’s birthday. Playing a hometown show in Laramie, Wyoming on the 1st of April, that’s no joke! We’re heading back to Japan for the first time since 2009. I know I’m leaving out some shows so stay tuned for more tour announcements. Fully stoked! Stoked for the sick sesh!

Love. -Ray

Remembering Brandon

It’s been one year since we had to say goodbye to our brother, best friend and drummer Brandon Carlisle. The outpouring of love from all over the world has been nothing short of incredible. It means a lot to know what a positive impact he had on so many people. Brandon loved playing music and making friends more than anything in life, and thanks to all of you we can carry his spirit with us as we continue his work. We love you so much Brandon, and we miss you every day.

Friends, be kind to each other. Spend your days doing the things you love. Be sweet.

Brandon T Shirts

Our friends at Bifocal media are still offering the Brandon memorial tees. Here’s what they had to say about them: TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET drummer and all around great guy, Brandon Carlisle is in a coma. As an artist that has been working with TBR for the past 3 years I wanted to do something to try and help. With Brandon’s twin brother Ray’s blessing we are doing a benefit shirt to try and ease some of the debts that will arise from Brandon’s hospitalization. Anyone that knows Brandon knows what a rad, and excitable dude he is, and the thought of him in a hospital seems pretty unbelievable. If you feel like you wanna help in some way, maybe grab a shirt to help and show your love for one of the finest punk drummers. Hang in their buddy, we love you. My royalties for this shirt will be donated to the band. -Chris Shary Brandon passed away shortly after this shirt became available. Teenage Bottlerocket continues to receive 75% of all income from sales of this shirt.

You can pick up a shirt here.
