Hey everyone! We’re excited to premiere our new music video for I Wanna Die on My Birthday off our new record Ready to Roll. When you’re a twin you share a birthday with your best friend — it’s awesome. So when my twin brother Brandon passed away, our birthday became a particularly depressing time of year. We’ve been doing a yearly birthday bash show to honor him and bring everyone together, and it’s awesome, and I love that everyone comes out. Still, I’d be lying if I said it’s not a dark day every time it rolls around. I miss Brandon every day.
Anyway, this song is about working through those hard feelings and finding purpose and reason to go on. Music, family, friends — that’s what matters in life. Enjoy this video that was hand-animated by our dear friend Kaleb Kaiser — he’s the shit.
