Freak Out!

Friends! We are beyond excited to announce our new full length Freak Out! The record comes out in July on Fat Wreck Chords and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it! These songs are some of our favorites we’ve ever done. We recorded it at the Blasting Room with our long time friend and engineer Andrew Berlin and we’re stoked on how everything turned out. It’s been over 10 years since Teenage Bottlerocket began and a lot of amazing things have happened since then. We are so grateful to everyone who has helped make our life so awesome and we hope you enjoy the record as much as we enjoyed making it!! The record comes out July 3rd on Fat Wreck Chords and you can check out details at Fat Wreck! We’ve also announced some tour dates and have a bunch more coming, so stay tuned!

Thanks! TBR

Heading back to the Blasting Room to do a new Record for Fat!

Friends! As 2011 comes to a close we’d like to thank everyone for an amazing year! Thanks to all of the wonderful bands we played with, all of the venues who had us, all the crew, and most of all to everyone who came out and supported our band. This has been the best year in Bottlerocket history, and we’re anxiously looking forward to the new year! We are especially excited for 2012 because we are heading back to the Blasting Room to record a new full length in February. So far we know that we’ll be working with longtime TBR engineer Andrew Berlin, and that Fat Wreck will be releasing it. Stoked! We have written some of our favorite songs to date, and we can’t wait to show them to everyone! The record will come out later in 2012, and we will keep everyone posted as we have more details!

Bonus news for Rock Band players, you can now purchase our song Bigger Than Kiss on the Rock Band Marketplace here! Do people still play Rock Band? Anyhoot…

Thanks! TBR

Chicago has always been one of our favorite cities to play, that’s why we’re particularly excited to announce we are coming back to play Riot Fest this year! But the radness doesn’t stop there, we will be playing Sunday October 9th at the Congress Theater with Weezer!! The radness still doesn’t stop there, Weezer will be playing the Blue Album front to back!! Holy rad! While we’re out in the midwest we will also be stopping by another one of our favorite cities, St Louis for a headlining show, so be sure to check that as well as our upcoming Wyoming dates out at our tour dates section!

Wyoming Tour!

Friends! We’ve decided to tour our home state of Wyoming, and here’s why:
Being from Wyoming is something we’ve always been proud of. Teenage Bottlerocket has made several friends around the state in the past ten years and we wanted to show our appreciation. Tobias Jeg at Redscare industries suggested that we do a Wyoming tour, and we all thought it was an awesome idea. We are playing some towns on this tour we’ve never played, and some towns we haven’t played for 7 or so years. Last time we played Rock Springs some metal head beat up a trash can in front of the venue. That’s the Wyoming we’re after. Some bands do tours that ignore Wyoming all together, we are playing 7 shows here. Perhaps other touring bands will take notice and add a show or two in Wyoming on upcoming tours. Our friends from Laramie Redbush will be main support for the entire tour. Denver, Colorado’s The Gamits will be playing the Laramie show.
Check those and all upcoming dates out at our tour dates section!

New Video! Reading and Leeds!

Friends! We’ve returned from Europe and we want to say we had an amazing time! Thanks to everyone who made it possible and to everyone who came out! We would also like to present a new music video for an old song here. The video is for “She’s Not the One” off our 2008 release “Warning Device” on Redscare Records. The video was directed by our friend Mike Kircos and we really think he did an amazing job, so check it out at http://vimeo.com/22341522 We had a great time in Europe and our first 2 shows in the UK ever were awesome, so awesome in fact that we’re coming back in August to play the Reading and Leeds Festivals! Details for Reading can be found at http://www.readingfestival.com/2011/lineup/ and Leeds information is available at http://www.leedsfestival.com/2011/lineup/ Stoked!
